Bumperboy Loses His Marbles

Bumperboy Loses His Marbles is a graphic novel written by Debbie Huey, and published by AdHouse Books in 2005. It was the first book in this series to be published as a full graphic novel. It is currently Out of print.
== Plot ==
The plot involves Bumperboy and his dog, Bumperpup, getting ready to go to a big marble tournament with their friend, Gordy, who is shy about going, partly because of a player named Frederik. One of his marbles is his grandmother's prized shooter marble, which is very special to him. On his way to the tournament, Frederik flies by in a strange helicopter-like device called a "helicoaster", and throws a stick at the ground in front of him, which distracts him and causes him to trip and drop his marbles down a "borp hole", a type of portal. Bumperboy "borps" through various lands to retrieve his lost marbles in time for the competition.
A bonus comic at the end titled "Bumperpup Loses Bumperboy's Marbles" is about Bumperpup chasing a squirrel to get Bumperboy's marbles back from it.
